Thanks for your time,

If you are referring to me thanks but Im flush now came up with 2 other wheels so have 4 plus a spare. Look for me in projects and you will see the truck with the 16 five lug wheels and P235/85/ 16 tires mounted and rolling.

Thanks for the info everyone. After seeing NumberDummy's reply I thought to pull the spare out and see what's on it. 6.00X16. Obvious by inspection it's an extremely old tire. Knowing the guy I got this truck from, I would bet it came with the truck in 1965

I have a pair of F100 16" outie rims and a set of four F100 15" outie rims available if anyone needs them. I was using the 16s on my CrewCab to replace the split rims dad put on the truck way back when. I came across the 15s when picking up some rims to use for bases for bike repair stands, so they are not destined for a truck unless someone here speaks up. I have the split rims still stashed away for no apparent reason. I finally found a full set of 5 innie 16s to use with my truck (and original hubcaps) when I get around to fixing things up.

Hello,
Searching on tire sizes and this thread is what I was looking for. I can't quite tell though what the consensus is... I have a '65 F100 fresh out of 33 years of sitting. The 6.50X16's on it hold air for the time being at least. Trying to figure out what tire size is the closest match for the 16 inch stock rims.

Thanks!

Last time I put tires on (it was many years ago) I put stock sized bias ply tires on it. Not even sure if they are available now.
