That will only work for Chevys. The ford hinge material is too thin.

I don't think there is ONE set that is best. They range from $120 to 600 per set.

I don't think the 600 set is that much better.

and u can get them on ebay for less..

Dolphin Universal Power Window Kit | eBay

this is what I have in the green truck..

altho they work, because of the big one piece glass, the channel the glass sits in needs to be wider to provide better support from tilting..
like the on the specialty power window kit.. but for $775!

Autoloc has a kit with wide base channels too..
but for near double the price without wiring or buttons..
AutoLoc Flat-Glass Power Window Conversion Kit PW5500 | eBay

a 56 with one piece windows will be a lot better as the glass is square the whole way up.

I intend to use the Dolphin kit again on the 56.

Sam, where do you have your battery? Is it still in the original under floor position. I'm trying to figure how the carpet gets layed over the battery lid in the floor as I will be keeping with the original location.

Björn, If you zoom in on the top hinge there looks like there is a black conduit, my guess is that's where he hid his wires.
