Looking at Autometer and Isspro gauges for my truck. I want to do a DP tuner this year as well. I've been told to pass up the boost gauge and get only the EGT, Trans Temp, and a gauge for the HPOP. He's a Ford Diesel Mechanic and told me the HPOP gauge would be more beneficial to me and that the Boost gauge more for fun really. I never even considered a gauge for the HPOP, I figured when it goes I'll get the Terminator setup for a couple hundred bucks.

Does anyone run a HPOP gauge? Should I run that instead of a boost gauge?

 

I would do EGT trans boost and a scangauge the you get to see everything

Boost is a good gauge to have. Very valuable to tell how the truck is running and can help diagnose some problems.

 

I'm thinking you guys have a good idea with the scan guage. Where do I get one?
