I need a measurement from someone with a stock height F250

I need to know how much lower the front end of a stock F250 is vs the rear end.

Mine has plow prep so I can't measure mine. I need someone who's truck doesn't have plow prep, camper package, heavy duty front end, etc. Just a standard suspension with no upgrades please.

It would be great if I could get a couple guys to measure and see what differences there are.

I'm trying to figure out exactly how much lift I have in the front of my truck so I can get a drop trackbar bracket that's closest to the total amount of front lift I have. Then I can get a much needed alignment so it stops wandering side to side down the road.

Originally I hoped not to have to get the bracket and alignment, I've since learned it's needed.

Thanks again guys!!

I've measured mine before I added airbags and the front was 1 inch lower than rear using the wheel well as reference.

Stock F250 4x4; no camper or snow plow prep packages.
OEM tires on 18 inch wheels.

Front is 1 inch lower than the rear, also using wheel well.
Front: 39.5 inches
Rear: 40.5 inches

I used the painted body piece that turns 90 degrees into the wheel wells for measurement; it's about a half inch wide.

It is going to difficult to get the same measurement from multiple trucks as we will all measure with different methods. I measured from the bottom of the front bumper(in the middle) and the bottom of the rear bumper(again as close to the middle as possible. Front measurement 20.5 inches----rear measurement18.75 inches. good luck.

Thanks guys. I figured it would be right around an inch, which means my lift is indeed 3.5".

I do appreciate you guys measuring your trucks for me!

IMHO...maybe a high quality adjustable track bar would be better for your situation. Then add the Carli / Bil steering stab.

Not sure why you feel the bracket should be changed...because of bump steer issues.

Good luck...

The axle is pushed over about 1/2" to the drivers side. The drop track bar bracket will recenter the axle with the truck.

An adjustable trackbar is another option, but at 4 times the cost not a good option for me.

Once I get the axle centered under the truck again I can have it aligned so it doesn't wander from side to side going down the road. It should promote better tire wear as well.

The hard part here is going to find the RIGHT size drop bar bracket...which usually depends on who the manufacture is of your 3.5" lift.

The same is not true for the adjustable track bar...but I totally understand the cost issue.

Hope you find something that will work. Maybe Lift Kit, Leveling Kit & Truck Suspension : ReadyLIFT
