LL, looks like you'll have to make due with that little boat.
Exactly what my daughter said! She is so spoiled, she said the 101 was small...
She's 24 but still acts like a kid, damn kids!

Does that mean you're "roughing" it?

How much fuel does that one burn per hour?

See, that's a prime example of why you need a maintenance and repair coordinator.

This ones cruise speed is 23knots, I'll guess 140 gallons an hour since she has a 7'3" draft

I filled her up today, took about 2000 gallons she holds just over 2500 total.
Fuel is dirt cheap right now, paid $1.90 per gallon.

I will calculate during trip and repost, owner never runs at more than 12knots (he's conservative). I don't have the patience for that or I'd be sailing

First run tomorrow will be 165 miles Miami Beach to Nassau.

My tractor driving tractor is going to need new tires one of these years. I'm holding out as long as I can. I'm probably going end up waiting too long and have one leave me on the side of the road
35 year old tractor with 20+ year old tires (feedlot duty doesn't really wear them out) and the rubber dry rot's. The sidewall of the tire cracked pinching the inner tube which was full of the nasty calcium which exploded out of the size of the tire spraying everything including me (nasty stuff and instant rust) which was fun.

Just got the final bill from my tire guy and he treated me better than I thought, it was significantly under the list price..... Going to a radial tire was worth every single penny!!!!!

It really worked out well, just unbolt the bed, get rid of the wiring, and back the truck into the water. Bed floats away right good.

Might be half the speed of the other one, but uses about 1/3 the fuel.

So I've been slacking on construction pics. Been EXTREMELY busy. Here's some of the current house. We have another foundation started also.

Composite decking for the porches.

Thats my college buddy!

These are the screws for the deck boards. Reverse threads at the top pulls the board tight to the joist.

Rock is turning out good.
