who doesnt want money or success? I think theres more to it then just that my friend. no one wants to be poor.
I disagree... I have told this to many people right here on FTE (on the phone)...
Quick story without many details... My wife use to contract a small painting company years ago for her business. The owner was always covered in paint and his van would always leak oil in my driveway. He did a lot of her clients homes. What I noticed in him was his can do attitude (really helpful when crunch time comes). I gave him 15 minutes of business advice, today he has a fleet of vans with tons of painters in his company. Last year we called him in to paint my house exterior and I couldn't believe the transformation (well dressed well groomed businessman now).
I really believe in people, if your a good person and are driven to succeed you will.
I tell people all the time, a landscaper can make more money than your average CEO.
I was in banking until age 44, by then I owned 2 yachts and basically retired.
I'm happy you were able to retire so young, and I'm glad you were able to make so much money.
But I sure wish the banks would spend a little less paying employees and giving their customers a tad more back in the form of interest payments. (no offense intended)
LL, If you need someone to handle coordinating maintenance and repairs just let me know. I'm a little landlocked right now but I am planning on moving to Maine as soon as the money is there. Maybe next year.
