Fiery actually hade the front from the Cierra (car) in the rear, and basically a Chevette front. With the gas tank being covered by the center console part by your shoulders..

Hated working on them. They cracked heads about every 2000 miles when they first came out. It got to the point that I could have the engine out in about 45 minutes I did so many of them....

 

I've seen some sweet V8 conversion Fieros. Supposedly they handled very well for a mostly economy car
