Early Chrysler Hemi.

Someone mentioned DeSoto, but I don't know how to tell the diff between the various motors unless the valve cover has the script on it.

750 lbs, plenty of room for a stroker, and strong enough to take whatever a 6-71 blower will push into it.

I was gonna say it couldn't be a Chevy because the distributor usually has 4 stupid screws instead of clips. I'll never forget that, it was an 83 Chevy K20 with a 350 and the ignition module went out so I had to try to somehow get that last screw pushed down up against the firewall to replace the HEI module. Once you get it it's fine but kind of a pain... especially if its the first repair you've done by yourself which was my case.

i remember when chevy engines had a window in the distributor cap for setting the points with a dwell meter.
i am pretty sure i still have the special tool for setting the points/dwell out in the tool box too.

Careful Tom...only fools are sure. If the shoe fits...wear it.

Ditto. Always used Blue Streak ignition parts my self. My 70 El Camino had that distributor.
