Someone mentioned DeSoto, but I don't know how to tell the diff between the various motors unless the valve cover has the script on it.
750 lbs, plenty of room for a stroker, and strong enough to take whatever a 6-71 blower will push into it.

I was gonna say it couldn't be a Chevy because the distributor usually has 4 stupid screws instead of clips. I'll never forget that, it was an 83 Chevy K20 with a 350 and the ignition module went out so I had to try to somehow get that last screw pushed down up against the firewall to replace the HEI module. Once you get it it's fine but kind of a pain... especially if its the first repair you've done by yourself which was my case.

Ditto. Always used Blue Streak ignition parts my self. My 70 El Camino had that distributor.
