Another fan of Back to The Future here.
Another fan here. I even had a Delorean for a while. It didn't have the flux-capicator though. It had an in-dash dvd player that would pop out. I would play BtTF on it, at car shows. Great car, but sadly I had to sell it. With the proceeds, I set aside a little and bought my 1969 Ford F-100.

I've wanted a DeLorean since they first came out. But at 6'7" 250#, I just don't fit in them and I really don't need a garage ornament.

Unless I had bigger garage! Maybe that's the solution......

Have you ever tried sitting in one? They are rather roomy and comfortable. I'm 6'1" and 210 and was very comfortable. It is designed to have the seat back tilted back. Typically I don't like the back tilted, but in the Delorean it works great.

It is all good. I understand that some vehicles aren't everyone's cup of tea. Mercedes had the gull wing doors in the 50's and then the Bricklin had the gull wing doors in the 70's.

The term Vertical Doors has come to mean just about any door that doesn't have the traditional pair of horizontal hinges. My favorite of the vertical door cars has got to be the Countach.

All that said, here's a kit to convert a Super Duty. Some brother somewhere has probably put this on an Excursion. (Yucko....)

Ford Super duty 1999-2010 Direct Bolt On Vertical Doors Inc Lambo Door Kit : Ford

I can see where that would be useful in getting in and out of the truck it really tight parking spaces where you can barely open the door. Of course, with the truck in the pic the door swinging normally would probably clear the roof of most cars.
