These next three are from;
50 Outstandingly Beautiful Desktop Wallpapers from National Geographic | Onextrapixel - Web Design & Development Magazine
I've had the blessing in my life to have experienced several of the subject locations in person.
Yellowstone, West Virginia, Wyoming & Florida,
San Antonio to the Bavaria Forests
add the Jungfrau along with the Matterhorn.
Temple of Poseidon
The first morning of 2011 gave a chance for a capture of the crescent moon rising through the ancient Greek temple of Poseidon at Sounion, Greece, little before the beginning of the morning twilight. The moon was 26 days old (three days before the New Moon phase) and 11% illuminated.
This I would love to have in my memory but there are other places quite similar already there.

I've seen this effect in person.
I was staying in Zermatt the thanksgiving of '76.
The sunrise sunlight as it clears the curve of the earth, strikes the peak of the Matterhorn and quickly sweeps downward painting the Mountain with a golden brush.
As you stand, watching, the tip of the mountain starts to glow.
Then it bursts into a bright dot, that quickly grows downward, moving so fast that you can feel it inside your soul.
