I've got my own construction project going on. It's nowhere near the scale that some of you have, but thought I'd share some before an after pcitures.
It started as a simple shower rebuild. The 30 year old tile was outdated and there were tell-tale signs of some water leaking around the step. Turned out there was wood rot through much of the floor and 2 walls, so the entire room came down to studs and was rebuilt a bit different than it was.
Enjoy...

The walls are out of the shower. (Sorry, no truly "before" pic.)
And ohoh... Just as I feared, wood rot.
There's more damage than I had thought. That's a load-bearing (exterior) wall and 1/2 the step is gone.
The step and pan have been removed. At this point it looks like the entire bathroom needs to come apart.
This is the flooring under the step. Note the straight line of damage through the plywood.
So after tearing the room to studs and putting it back together, it's ready for tile.
The shower is now built. Note that the old shower was in the corner on the right hand wall and the new shower is across the back wall.
Next up, vanity (on order), the shower glass, and fixtures.

Know that one T! My co-worker and I did that with the whole wall inside two years ago! It went the length of the building. But we both tore into it!
That looks AMAZING bass! It's almost always worse than you think when you start in a bathroom. I had to do some major work on my dad's bathroom a awhile back. Floor, subfloor, bottom plate and one joist rotted! New tub/shower, toilet, vanity and 4' of sheetrock all the way around.
