That was my profit, played a couple hours started with $1500 walked out with $8950 in chips after tips lol.... I've won as much as 47k in 6 hour sitting at same casino. Best of all, I don't make it a point to gamble, I usually only play black jack 2-4 times per year. Never here in Florida.

Having lived in Hawaii every summer for a few years when my dad was stationed in the coast guard, I noticed how much they love Pork as a whole. Either spam or off the pig. They have some great dishes using pork. One small that I wasn't a fan of back then, but it is popular everywhere is a Spam Musubi. It's white rice on top of fried spam with seaweed wrapped around it. At the time that I tried it, I didn't like it. I'm sure these days I would enjoy it.

We had a National Night Out event which is basically a small block party to gather your neighbors, get to know them, and assure that you are all looking out for each other. I was in charge of music and since my playlists consist of Metal or a mix of unpopular pop songs, I found a premade one of summer rock songs. Oldies. We had only just got the party started and the 5-0 rolled up.. but, it wasn't because we were belligerent, or noisy. Nope, they blocked off the main road, busted out cupcakes, booklets and informative papers, teddy bears for the kids and even had a small speech about neighborhood safety and watching each other's backs.

It was really cool to have the town's police officers rotating in and out, enjoying food and drink, and telling stories. We also had neighbors stopping in and doing the same. Overall it was a big success!
That is always nice to see. Glad their department allowed them to do that

We've never had a problem with that GIG. The moisture is always evaporated before framing starts. Even if the exterior is sealed, it will seep through to the inside. The concrete doesn't get poured until the framing is up. By then there is no issues.

Their problem is that "near beer" is sterile, it won't sprout. You need to get yourself some real beer first :-)

It might be "near beer" but I still drink it when offered!
