hey, fwiw, i just got a set of 42" Pit Bull Rockers and i am very impressed with the ride so far and they seem very quiet on pavement for such aggressive mud tires...
i give them
thought i'd spread the good word...

Not the most economically efficient truck but sure does look awesome. What else needs to be done?

Maybe you could set the Taurus body on the truck frame

i think if you have a torch and a welder they will fit just fine...i'm not a mechanic, though, so i'd get a second opinion...

...maybe not 42's, but close enough...

Now you just need to add an escalator for Ken to get up and down

it gets about 1-2 mile(s) per gallon...so it's no Ranger...

the truck seems to run very good, if i can figure out how to adjust the carbs it should be 100%...a little too much gas now (i think...)
the main problem now is the steering is pretty much wasted...there is at least 6" of play...it's pretty sloppy...you can grab the shaft/column and shake it and it's all pretty loose...the box leaks, also...go figure...
the truck sounds pretty sick, though, even with the exhaust leaks where they just slipped the pipes over the headers/collectors and held them in place with one self tapper each...
..and i'm just waiting for the piece of bailing twine to break that is holding the carpet covered lower radiator hose 1/16" away from the PS pulley...
and the top of the radiator is starting to break off, the heat doesn't work anymore (thermostat?), no reverse lights, no tail lights, no dash lights, the left blinker only works when i turn right,

for some reason i love it, though...

Good evening all! Warm up for here to Jim. 50° this weekend into next week. I'm lovin' it, getting too old to deal with the cold any more. Have a super fine first Humpday of 2012.
