Hey JR.
Aaron, yes it is for a blower and we do use it. All of Pacific's line has a floating fire box design and with that, the inner guts of my stove is the same as all of the other models that are the same size. The only difference between the models is the outer shell. This one just came out 4 years ago and I bought the first one that the shop had. It has a cast iron surround and there is a 1.5" air space between the inner and outer shells. The blower draws air in from the lower back side and it runs up the back and comes across the top of the stove. It helps to distribute the heat out and then the ceiling fans help to move it around. Also some interesting information... I can have the back of the stove within 6" of a combustable surface and the sides within 12" using a double wall pipe.

-the house has no master bathroom, and only one full bath up and one half bath down. we will be adding a master bath
-remodeling the existing full bath. we will be adding built in storage, and removing a clawfoot tub/shower and putting in a fiberglass tub with tile to ceiling. adding some wanescot and chair rail. and retiling the floor. also, i think in the plans is a recessed medicine cabinet and more lighting.
-the dining room is getting wall paper removed and wanescot added.
-the kitchen has great cabinets, but is awkwardly laid out....everything is on one side of the kitchen with a completely bare wall that has a refrigerator awkwardly placed in the middle of it protruding into the room. we are probably going to add a pantry or something like that next to the fridge and add some counter space. also granite counters and new appliances are in order.
-master bedroom is getting a big walk in closet
-and the fireplace in the living room
hopefully thats it for now.

On "jet lag" JR. Going to do some slacking and napping. Probably won't even unload the backhoe. The news was showing snow up W of you. Getting any (snow that is) ?
