JR, I know what you mean. I drove my wife into work this morning and she works at the town hall, then I stopped to hit the ATM and order the last few parts that I need for my snowblower and then headed into work. I left at 7:45 and got into the office just a little pass 9. Normally this would be a 35 minute drive but not today.

We also had a roll over crash late this afternoon due to the roads.

The driver was not injured and it was a Prius.

Shaun, is that a replica made with modern materials, and machines?

Yeah it is a replica. The barrel is machine made for the most part as well as some of the brass fittings. The lock is still hand forged. Especially the springs in the lock.

I did not realize that replicas were being produced.

Good luck on your new weapon.

on average I will do 3 rounds a minute loaded aimed and fired. on a really good day it canbe 4 or 5 rounds a minute loaded aimed and fired. I train for the 3 round mark at a minimum. so you figure every 20 seconds I m loading and firing. Which is not too bad for something that is 5 plus fete long and has to be loaded from the muzzle.

That must be more than the actual period weapon could handle in a lifetime.
