Remove the Alt-P/S Bracket from the front of the engine and unbolt the bracket holding them to the block. Remove the quick connector with a special disconnect tool. You will need a 3/8" and 5/16" tool for the lines.

Any autoparts store should have them. They are very common tools to need. They are used for more than just fuel lines too.

Here is the style I have. http://www.amazon.com/Alltrade-64865...5435952&sr=1-9

So you know what you are dealing with this is a similar quick-connect fitting.

The disconnect tool slips over the line and when pressed into fitting it releases
the tension on the garter spring (3) that holds the female fitting (1).

A couple more pictures.

Here you can see the little spring tabs on the ID of the connection that the tool pushes away, allowing you to release

$5.00 tool at an autoparts store.

Insert tool over fuel line, Push the tool inside of the female connector. Jiggle,tug,jiggle,tug.. Comes right apart.
