Xplan-Costco Plan+purchasing truck in a week= Dillema---any ideas?
Well, I found a truck to purchase and put a hold on it. I'm scheduled to go and pick it up next weekend. Now the problem......I planned on getting a Xplan pin through the EEA membership but as I went subscribe to the magazine I found out that I need to be a member for 30 days prior to requesting this pin. Ouch....that was a bummer. I attempted to request a pin through the Blue oval forum but it appears thats not a viable option anymore. So, since I don't have access to a pin I was wondering if it's worth pursing the Costco plan. Or does anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks for the help,
Caleb

Reason: adjust title
I got my pin from the EAA like a week after I signed up, didn't have to wait for it the 30 days they have outlined.
Did you have to request the pin or was it automatically given to you? I'll give this a try. I did let the dealer know about the Xplan without knowing that there was constraint with this option.

I honestly can't remember the process but it's done online. I had to log into my EAA account online, then went to the Ford partner program link and got it all setup there.

Ask the dealer, I know a lot of them around here can get them for customers. It just may be because I am in Detroit and there might be a lot more Ford employees around here.
