1936 half tons use different hood sides, have the hood side panel emblems in the upper center between the louvers.
1937's use different hood side panels and emblems than 1936's. So it could be a '36 w/a '37 grille, or a '37 with '36 hood side panels.

btw Cody, maybe I read your question wrong, but MH was only a conversion company that put their all wheel drive units under the trucks produced by other mfg's.
MH as far as I know never produced a truck.
Similar to Shelby/Saleen/Steed using Mustang platforms to finish building their "own" version.

It's a 1937 Ford with a '36 hood side panel. As Scott said, '37 was the only year of the '35-'37 body style that used the 2 piece, peaked windshield. The '35-6 was essentially the same truck with a flat windshield. Some parts interchange, some don't. That barrel grille is unique to the '37, as well.

Left hood side panel is from a 1936 Ford 3/4 ton or larger truck. Notice that light red color? That where the Ford V8 emblem...was.

Except it seems more than a couple of us are confused by your statements. AFAIK, all 1935 Ford trucks had the emblem centered in the hood, where the big change for '36, along with the replacement of the spoke wheels with the 'wide 5' pattern on the half-ton, was the emblem placement to the front of the hood side. I've restored several of these, and this is what I've found to be correct.

Heck, you could post a pic of a Studebaker truck, most wouldn't know what it was...unless you said so.
