Thumbs down PTO question

Does anyone know if a PTO from a Clark 282V transmission will fit a 250V? Looking to put a right side unit on a 250V trans in a1963 F750 with a 332V8.

If you can't get any help from a parts depot, try counting the teeth on the gear that the pto will engage. As long as the count is the same for both, and the angles on the teeth are the same, you should be good to go. White out works good to mark 1 tooth so you can keep track of where you started as you count

You are not good to go if the helix angle and tooth count are the same if the pitch is different. You need literature that will show you specs of the cluster gear or the mating pto gear for both applications to ensure they are the same.

Or else use some calipers to get a half *** measurement of the tooth pitch.
