Strobes

There was a Banner on here when I first joined advertising strobe lights that were mounted in the cabs clearence lights. I hav'nt seen it recently and can't remember the name of the company. Does anyone remember the name of the company??

I like them a lot. I want them for plowing mostly and I really dislike those ugly orange magnetic corded strobes!!

I hear ya. They are just so expensive! You can make your own by getting a flasher unit from wheelen for much less. I think thats what they use, a 4 head wheelen flasher. Other than that youre paying for name, idea, and LED clearance lights.

for the ridiculous price of those LED lights, you can buy a good strobe light bar that will do both front and rear, instead of just the front that the cab lights do.

I hope you mean a mini light bar. A good full light bar is like $1000

new, yea. but there are plenty of very good full size bars out there for under $300

i picked up a 16 head federal jetstrobe for $175 last year. all it needed was the wire harness lengthened.

and i picked up 10 full size jetsonic bars 4 years ago with strobe conversions for $30 each.

They are expensive. What kind of LEDs would you get if you wanted to even build that??
