6.4 smoke

Just curious how some people get so much black smoke from there truck. The only way I do is by turning it to a high tune and punching it. So I guess I'm asking how to get more smoke with less throttle without hurting any engine components. Any help?

Two Stroke in the diesel. Many have been doing it for years to add lubricity back to the fuel. Many others will say not to in the 6.4 but IMO that's because of the DPF. But I'm assuming you're deleted if you're talking tunes.

Smoke isn't really what you want though. Smoke is incomplete combustion which means you're losing fuel through exhaust that hasn't burned completely. But to each his own.

Egr and dpf delete with h&s mini max. 4" diamond eye turbo back. And two stroke? Never heard of that before. Why not any other diesel fuel additive?

Other additives are recomended for the 6.4. But it's not gonna necessarily give u smoke. What tune u running? 6.4.31? That one happens to blow less smoke than earlier versions.

yes, most of todays additives are good, just make sure it DISPERSES water and NOT EMULSIFIES IT!. with the amount of two stroke guys are using you wouldn't notice any smoke. I run diesel keen in the summer and power service white bottle in the winter, I also drain my separator monthly, I have never seen more than a few drops of water..
