I'm kinda surprised that they both plug into the "bridge". I'm used to the monitor device plugging into the OBD-II port and then a wire going from the monitor device to the module. What extra function does the module need that it has to be directly tied into the "bridge" that it couldn't get from the monitor?

None..Orignal design is that you can have the 6 gun operate without any connections inside the cab.

So in order to operate it with either a knob to change the settings or the IQ they have a wire come into the cab.

I suppose the logical design was to go to the bridge as the wire is most likely not long enough to reach somewhere on the dash where you might have your IQ. I'd have to look at mine to see for sure.

I really like the setup though and when I tow heavy I run in stock usually anyway.

It has served me well in over 50K miles.

I took the bank's out of my truck, and can't give it away! I will probably put it back in for guages and an occasional jaunt.
That IQ screen is probably the most attractive tuner option/screen thing out there!

I want the sct tsx, but the wife say's no till this bank's is gone.

I can see how the Bank's is hard on trannies, as hauling my ATV one day, I pulled out of a blind intersection, and had too get going now, mand did my truck shake and shimmy. I thought the torque converter was gonna come through the floor! lol

It works great with my tranny. Pulling under 10K I will run with it on level 2. Over 10K I run stock.

With the 08's and up it does a defuel if you have your foot on real hard during the shifting.

I wasn't paying attention, and my friend put it on level 5.

On a sidenote, I have a friend with a man 6spd studded 6.0, he loves it! His clutch doesn't thank him though!

Not on the 6.0s which is what the OP has. There have been upgrades if you will on the tranny on the 6.4. That would be like comparing shift on the fly tuners that work on the 7.3 and saying it should work on the 6.0. Which is what a lot of people did/do with regard to shift on the fly tuners and the 6.0. In my opinion one of big reasons that the 6.0 has a bad reputation that it has.

False security especially on the 6.0. Bully Dog and Edge both "defuel", doesn't mean that the damage isn't done.
