1989 f-250 engine

Hey guys,

I got a 89 ford from a friend with no engine in it. I'm getting ready to install one and i was wondering if i can get some pics of the engine bay for some reference points on where some of the oddball stuff goes. thanks alot

351w i literally have a shell and im trying to piece everything back and wanted some photos of where all the small stuff bolts into place.

There is a picture of a '97 F-250 HD with a 351w in my garage.. It probably will be a lot different than your '89. But it might give you some ideas..

a lot of that "oddball stuff" can be torn out or not re-installed. everything associated with the air pump can be removed with no adverse effect. this turns out to be a ton of stuff, especially if its a 5.8 truck.

you'd be amazed at the size of the pile of vacuum lines, hoses, and contraptions that you'll have after removal. . .and your engine bay will be much cleaner.

I planned on not installing that stuff, my state doesn't do emission testing.

How long did it take you to remove all of that air pump stuff?
