Only that this is my first Christmas with a fridge truck. This particular truck got me on the internet and lead me to this group. It's no mystery to most of you here that I have really enjoyed meeting this group. Most of the old fords I've owned are either red or green. Many have been both. Those colors together are the Christmas colors, so that is my fridge Christmas story. Wish I had some classic Christmas story about going to my grandpa's farm in my Dad's old '58 half ton to cut a Christmas tree, but I don't. My dad drove a '67 falcon squire which was pretty sweet and it was green. As usual I will post some pics, whether or not they have anything to do with the story.....

As always, great to see the pics Gary! Some really great shots! I don't really have any "Christmas Fridge" stories either as my trucks are always "nestled all snug in the beds", with the hope of spring going thru my head!
My story is about my first truck, a 1960 F100 4x4. I got it in late summer and it ran, but was in pretty bad shape (it was only 14 years old). I redid the bed (flareside)and patched the holes in the floor and doors. Then painted it with aluminum paint - really bright. Went to get the Christmas tree. A bright silver truck with a Christmas tree in the back sitting in the driveway looked really Christmasy. Too bad all those pictures are long gone.
I still have a box of curled up old photos from years of truck projects. Since I don't have a scanner, I lay them on the kitchen table and take a close-up of the photo and it's ready to post. 3414, I bought my first truck, a 65 f100 in 1973. Hard to believe that it was a good running, albeit very rusty 8 year old truck and cost me 375.00. I fixed the body with galvanized flashing, fiberglass and sheets of scrap formica. We must be in the same age bracket. Thanks for posting an actual fridge story. Anyone else?
