I took this apart over a year ago and cant remember how it goes. Does the outside part float between the timing cover and timig ngear? Or does the outside piece get assembled so it cant walk off? I tried this and cracked due to there being nothing to support the area directly behind the bolt and washer. Please help i am trying to assemble tonight

 

The outside floats (spins) on the inner piece, this is to help reduce wear at the junction with the fuel pump.

But, it can't walk away, either.

 

So i must be missing a spacer that goes behind the inner piece ?
