1989 2"level kit and bushwacker flares/what size tires
I have a 1989 short wheelbase 4x4, 5 speed 302. Its bone stock sitting on 33x12.50-15 BFG all terrains now. Just acquired a 2" suspension leveling kit and bushwacker cut out fender flares in a trade. What size tires do you think I can clear? Im all but positive 35x12.50s will go, I was hoping for 35x15.50 swampers jsut for the fat tire stuffed look. Planning on trimming the front bumper also. Anyone have this set up? Any pics? suggestions as to what will fit? anythign else I need to change? etc...thanks

No, dual shocks absorb more impact, makes buying new shocks twice as expensive tho
I'd think you would need new wheels to run 15.50s so current wheel/tire combo really wont matter as everything would have to change. My personal guess is that 15.50 will not fit without rubbing, unless you have a crazy wide offset and trimmed fender/bumper.

^^ He is right. A lift wont affect how wide of a tire you can run. A flare will just cover it up on the outside. And if you want a 15.50, and get crazy offset rims, then your gonna be buying balljoints every year lol. Id stick with a 12.50 or maybe even a 13.50. Your rim width shouldnt affect it too bad. Iv heard you want a slim rim and fat tire when rockcrawlin so it doesnt break the bead when running low tire psi. But then youve got wear issues lol. Everything affects everything lol
