What did I find under my dash?

So I took the instrument cluster off and along the left hand side there is what looks like a flasher holder mounted on the side panel and behind that was something with 5 male flat blades(green) and marked motorcraft, tangled up in the wires under the speedo was a female connector(red) that seemed to plug up nicely. When I got the truck a few other things were unplugged under the dash too. So what did I just plug in? Thanks!
