wonder if the last mechanic pinched it or something

are you plugging into the IPR itself? If so maybe its the ipr pigtail. Mine was all frigged up from the heat and taking it in and out. Glad to hear your making progress

New harness cheezit. Ive got a cluster ordered. Gotta do the ford "handshake"with the pcm.
Cheezit,have you ever heard of a shorted inj solinoid? Im gettin a hard fault with num 8 inj. I wonder if unplugging it would let the truk start. Ive seen one little bity chaffed wire cause a no start.

Ima try it dukie. I got a extra ipr harness. Worth a shot..

What code? If the solenoid is messing with the FICM I can see where it would shutdown and that's certainly possible as are shorted solenoids.

I unpluggef 8 and no change. No change,that reminds me of obama and his wicked staff.i sent my num cheezit. Did u receive it? Silly question,are u useing ids from ford cheezit? My modis wont display fpr pid on 08 6.4...i got one with a inj pump wire harness prob.

Update on this particular truck. It was module to modual communacation.

how did you determine the module to module comm failure? What did you do to fix it?
