Help Number Dummy

Number Dummy I need your help. I have a family member that has a different engine in his truck. The problem is the engine has a vibration. He is going to change the flywheel. Also I am concerned about the Harmonic balancer as well because if the vibration continues it will crack the crankshaft if we don't take care of it now.
Engine9AE 6015-ED18
Flywheel C5AE-6380-E
Is the right # D7TE-CA 3E13 for the flywheel?
What is the correct # for the harmonic balancer?
I hope the numbers I provided are correct.
Thank you for your time.

Engine: D9AE 6015-ED

Flywheel C5AE-6380-E

Is the right # D7TE-CA for the flywheel? Cannot be CA, could be GA

The vibration will not damage the crankshaft. What it will do is...eventually tear the center out of the flywheel.

Typical situation: Peeps make changes, do not record what the parts come from, then when something breaks, either they or subsequent owner(s) have no clue what the parts fit.

Casting numbers on engine blocks are foundry marks, cannot be cross referenced to Ford part numbers.

What I do know is, the D9AE-ED casting number was used in 1979 only. But, it could be either a 302 or a 351W.

I could not find any reference for the C5AE-6380-E flywheel.

There is no ID engineering number of D7TE-CA .. but there is D7TE-GA .. Look closely at this suffix, the die stamp was prolly worn, turning the G into a C.

If the ID number is D7TE-GA = the Ford part number is: D7TZ-6375-C 302 flywheel, but...

I need the ID engineering number that is either stamped or cast on the harmonic balancer.

Once decoded, the Ford part number and applications will be known and if it can safely be used w/the D7TZ-6375-C flywheel.

Number Dummy,
We got the numbers off the balancer. Kinda hard to look at with a mirror.
#112672 or could be # 115672 Thanks for your time and effort. Happy Holidays.

These aren't Ford related numbers, the balancer was prolly replaced by an autoparts store aftermarket.

Take the numbers to NAPA, see if they can ID what it's from.

If genuine Ford, the ID numbers would be similar to these examples: D2OE-6316-AA or D5AE-6316-AB
