some1 post pic of pacesetter LT's please
im finishing up my 351 swap, and im gonna have to re-work my y-pipe again. . .my flowtechs arent in the best of shape, and i may have to heat/bend them yet again (had to do it to clear d-shaft w/ 302) and im not sure how well they will hold up to that heat cycle (theyve been on there for a long time). the last thing i want to do is fab another y-pipe (ive done it 3x already) to fit the current setup, and then again 6 months from now cuz the headers rotted out.
so, if someone would be gracious enough to take a pic for me and post it up, that would solve all of my issues.
heres what im lookin for:
a pic from underneath the truck, looking up depicting the relationship between the drivers collector and the front driveshaft. preferably of a truck with a 351, but if its a 302 i can work with that also. a pic of the y-pipe config wouldnt hurt either.
thank you.

You can look at my build thread, the first few pages are all about my exhaust and the headers. When I get home from work I can take any pics you need.
One issue I ran into that you might not, is the placement of the O2 sensor on the collector was super close to my E4OD so I had to shave one of the bolts on the trans a bit to easily clear the sensor

the pic with the driveshaft dangling down is almost exactly what im lookin for. if its not too much trouble, id like to see it with the d-shaft hooked up.
130 bucks for your y-pipe to be fabbed is a great price, especially if it included all those clamps!. fwiw: i always use the "band" style clamps when clamping with future removal in mind. as you probably already know, its not much easier to remove the "bolt" clamps vs grinding welds apart. its more expensive, but much easier when it comes time to remove the stuff to bite the bullet and get the bands.
thanks for your reply.

yup, thanks thats exactly what i needed.
man i wish i woulda just bought the pacesetters to begin with. i bought 3 sets of different headers out of jegs because of the "will not fit 4x4 with lifts" disclaimer. i wound up keepin the ones that had the longest primaries, heated/bent them to fit, and sent the others back (none of them cleared my d-shaft). those will fit regardless of height. in fact, they fit better with lifts. i guess thats why theyre more expensive.
do you remember if theyre oval port or square port @ the flange by any chance?
i welcome slow leaks on everything but my car. the car needs to stay spotless, but im a huge fan of lettin the oil sling all over the big iron chunks that i drive daily. oil cleans right off, rust doesnt.

Im not sure, the Pacesetters came with gaskets. Here's a pic of the head without the manifold. I'm pretty sure they were the same, otherwise I would have remembered them being different....that made sense in my head....

the factory e7 heads (in your pic) have square ports, and the stock mani's are square also. the gt40 ports are oval, and i opened them up as far as possible while retaining their oval shape (theyre gigantic compared to the stock e7 ports, that can be almost completely covered with a quarter). i'd like to retain the oval shape in the header if possible, but those pacesetters fit so damn good that i'd prob go with them regardless if i run into problems elsewhere (one good thing about the flowtechs, theyre almost exact match to my head ports, although if the 1 5/8" primaries of the pacesetters are also oval ports, that would be more optimal)
