Scangauge came today! what gauges do i need

Scangauge came today and cant wait to start playing with it and figure out what is really wrong with the truck!! But first must finish replacing ball joints!

What other gauges do i need ? Fuel pressure and EGT? am i missing any?

ISSPRO ev2 the way to go? Anyone know who has the best prices?

I think that two of the critical parameters you want to monitor Are Engine Coolant (ECT) and Engine Oil (EOT) Temperatures. Those two will tip you off to problems with your EGR/Oil Coolers and let you monitor your running temperatures. Good stuff!

Well, if you wanted to add a "low oil pressure" gauge to the list, that would be good.

#####Fuel psi, EGT, low oil,######

most of the rest you will have available on your SGII.

Look around for a "G" force gauge would be fun! LOL

Let me know which way you go for Fuel and EGT. I have been putting those off, but maybe next tax season.

My Autometer's have been in for 5+ years now and have been flawless.

Scangauge---ICP, IPR, FICM main voltage, ECT, and EOT. When you start adding it's easier to just add as many as possible and remember that they start at 24 and go down as you scroll through so if you alphabatize them put the "A's" on 24 and the "Z's" on 1. It makes it a LOT easier to quickly find what you want to see as you scroll through.

What gave you that impression? The price? Outside of my DashDAQ, I have 7 AutoMeter's in my truck and they haven't had a lick of trouble the 6.5 yrs (bought it in 05) that I've had the truck.
