i am normally on the bump forum , found a 1967 ranchero gt 500 390 sitting in my neighborhood , is this car rare ? i haven't approached owner yet . yet
thanks numbersdummy
i was hopeing for a general answer of yeah pretty rare or dime a dozen .
like i said haven't approached owner yet . from my gogle searches the 390 gt500 wasn't to common .
Closest number I came up with was from a book on Ford Rancheros by Classics Motorbooks. They show 9504 of the Model 66B, the 500 but don't break it down by motor size. Total sales of 17,243 so not many made at all.

There was no GT500. It is either a Ranchero GT or a Ranchero 500. And, ND, there was no 428 available in any shock tower car in 1967.
Hey , just so you know ..I have a 68 GT 390 Ranchero and the Marti report I got shows only 2600, of GT 390's...most were small block or 6s ..and yah my front end is worn out..so have you checked on it yet ??
