Vin code digits
What digit on my vin number tells what the engine in my 2011 F-15 is? I think it is a 302CI but am not sure

open the hood? Read the emissions sticker? It would be a 5.0 modular not a 302. yes same displacement but not the same engine and never referred by its size in cubic inches. We live in a metric world.

ACTUALLY a 302 is closer to 4.9. However, the new motors are a 305 ci displacement.

Back in the days of the in-line 6 cylinder engines the 4.9 was considered the same as the 300 cid.

Vin for motor
It is the eighth digit of the vin number. "T" is a Ecoboost for sure. I don't know about the other engines.
