I wonder if he welded a piece of 2" pipe around the cork to ensure it doesn't get knocked out when off-roading.

...that and a length of nylon rope will always keep you on the road. Been there, done that.

Here's the Craigslist ad for my new (to me) F-350. No, it didn't come with door panels, yes the seat has seen better days, but I'm putting buckets in it, and the door panels aren't hard to find. Well, the front ones weren't, the rear ones will be next to impossible. No worries though. Some of you may notice that it's got an '87-'96 bed on it, but the truck was manufactured as a chassis cab, and when the state of South Carolina owned it, it had a flat bed/service bed, and the P/O had this one laying around. No rust (not even the floor pans), runs and drives like a champ (she'll roast the tires in three gears. ). All she really needs is a fresh coat of paint and a matching bed. I was thinking about going back with the black/red, or maybe a dark blue, or a two tone with dark blue on the bottom and silver on top.

Thanks, man. I originally bought it as a donor truck for a 460 swap in my F-150, with plans of parting out and scrapping it after the swap to recoup my money. But the first time I drove the truck, I fell in love with it, so it's here to stay. I guess you could say it's a rescue of sorts. Haha
