1989 Ford F150 Custom...new member

Hi, i am a new member here to the forum and i just bought my friends 1989 f150 off of him for $650 in good running condition. Needs some body work, typical rot etc. and needs tlc. Has 4x4 automatic 4 inch lift blocks. 33s. 165k. 5.0 engine. I will post pics before i start doing work on it but my questions was: 1. How do i install the front bumper.. it is bumperless since my friend has to remove it while he took off the plow (up here in new york) and explains for much of the rot on the truck..which for 650$ runs and drives pretty good.
2. Why is the gas pedal stiff to push down. I reallyhave to push down to get it going but it moves a little bit...if that makes sense. Thanks again Harry.

My '90s accelerator is hard too.

I never could find out why.
