Just January New For The Year's BS Thread
Welcome visitors to the monthly Mississippi Chapter BS Thread... where we mostly discuss the vagaries of our weather.
If you are a MS Ford truck (any year, vintage) owner, please say hello & especially if you are interested in having the coveted chapter membership added to your FTE status.
If you're in a neighboring state/region or just like us, please feel free to join in & post.
We love projects. We love pictures of projects. If you know of a automotive event close by that may have slipped our notice, please tell us about it.
If you're out & about in the state, say where & when & we can do IRL for a cup of coffee or cool beverage. If you need advice/info/helping hand, speak up & we'll give it a shot.
Hope everyone had a great holiday season.
I'm enjoying all the non-fridge temps knowing they won't last.
Watching all the weeds git a jump'. Knowing my yard looks like a sad, soggy pasture & abandon property.
Sally forth y'all.

Well.... I just took my sister to the Jackson airport. When we left meridian, it was gloomy but no rain. After traveling thru the rain we get to Jackson and NICE blue skies. Go figure....
Now, I suppose the weather will cool off and get back to January like...(???)
Par for Mississippi I guess...

I'll concur with you on that. Just swapped bumpers and mounted a winch on one of my jeeps, then rotated tires on my Dent. Even with the annoying high winds, it was a pleasant afternoon wrench session .

Looks like we were spared the worst of that front that came thru yesterday.
BUT.... just across the MS / AL line in Alabama, there was a couple of tornados. AND.... looks like Alabama got HIT a few more times from our latitude all the way up to Morgan county in north Alabama. Selma got hammered.
More recovery time for MORE people in the MS / AL area. Pray for these folks. We quickly forget unless we are the ones affected.
