After looking at the picture of the vent glass looks like I need to clean some of the finger prints off of it. It's amazing how a digital camera shows more then just looking with the eye.

Well after being a member for almost seven years this is my 1000th post. Also had a oops this week. While installing a door glass window I cracked it.

Congrats on the milestone. "Oh well" on the glass. Its flat so you can have it cut locally, right?

My wife just sent me a picture from the square with my son standing by your truck... Looks great, I told her to say hello but she was already at the brick oven sending me the picts.

I kept looking for you while I was there. I must have missed your wife and son; me and my wife snuck off for a while to eat at Memphis St, cafe for lunch. The truck is still not finished but I wanted to get out with it.

Here are two pictures from the Hernando water tower festival, my wife took these with her cell phone. I walk off and left the camera at the house other wise I would took a lot of photo's of other trucks. I counted around six ford trucks with two in the fifty's and the other four earlier models.

Well I shouldn't had done it but I bought some bling for the truck this week. Been wanting and watching Ford eagle hood ornaments on e-bay for the past three years and well I couldn't take it any longer, I saw one on e-bay ending at a strange time and I went for it (good price). At least during the past few weeks I been getting a lot of over time. I do have the feeling like I got a honey due list going to hit me before the week is over.

I couldn't bring myself to drill holes for that in that paint job. Just wouldn't have the stomach.

Well after 7 months of not moving the truck out of the garage I actually took it for a drive today. The truck ran very smooth, put in about 40 miles. I'm on vacation this week, feels strange not working from dark to dark.
By the way David I have yet to drill holes in the hood.

Dang. I hope its dry up that way. Cold air ought to be good for the engine, though.

Well spent the past week on vacation. Put in some time working on the 56.
Completed the following task.
Installed insulation:
floor, ceiling, rear wall
Installed headliner, rear cab lower carpet and floor carpet.
Made and installed kick panels
Installed Eagle on hood.
Worked on washing and waxing, used Liquid Glass, this stuff is really easy to use.

Also took the truck to a car show today in Sardis,Ms. Actually got lucky and won best in show for trucks.
