Western Australian f100
G'day everyone the name is Rob and im new to the forum.
Recently aquired my first truck, a 77 f100 custom, its a 4x4 and its running a 351cleveland and 4spd.
We dont see many effies around here, we mostly just have nissan patrols and toyota landcruisers and various 4x4 utes so you do get a few looks from people..
Shes done 488000km's and running 33's but i am unsure what springs it has.
The bad, broken rear tail shaft.
Started staining the wooden tray,
Considering getting a body lift, but i have no clue how to install it or what it even looks like, cant find anything on the damn net.
Heres my other ride, 76 ZH Fairlane with a 351c and c4.

Don't know if it's just me, but I couldn't get a single one of those pictures to load on my phone or on the computer, but congrats anyway on the acquisition!
Go to this link for some body lifts: 1973-79 Full Size Truck/bronco - Lift Kits - Body Lifts
Good luck!

Welcome Rob! Thanks for the pics. Nice truck!! I've never seen the right hand drive's before. Whats the chance you could post some pics for us of the steer box from under the hood and linkage also?
Guess I will will be visiting your chapter and enjoy reading some threads!
How did you rip out the drive shaft?

Truck is sweet man. I snapped a driveshaft like that when I was 18. Pissed off one day went out for the dramatic exit and did a neutral slam and ripped the driveshaft right off.
Took it down to a custom fabrication/welding shop and in a day and about $400 I had an awesome driveshaft.
It was in an old 89 Bronco, and was expensive at a junkyard. The made one was only $100 more than an old rused junk one was going to cost me.
Don't know if that helps but it sure did help me. Good luck thanks for the pics. Bumper tube addition gave me a good idea.

Hey Rob. Welcome to the forum and the world of Effies.
I saw that for sale in Wattleup and almost stopped to look, but mine is costing me enough as it is.
I have a lot of bits off mine that I dont need so its all for sale, but I think my driveshaft might be a little longer than yours, if you want to measure it I'll check mine.
Anyway nice F truck and even sweeter Fairlane. I'm and old Ford fan through and through.
Catch you in the Oz chapter.
Darren
