Changed my running boards.

I really didn't like the stock tube looking runny boards that come on the XLT. They're just not wide enough to be useful I'd like to have gotten the amp'd boards, but can't see spending that much on them. I noticed that the boards on the Lariat's are much wider, 6" wide. So I found a set on ebay. I'm very happy with them. I meant to take a before pic but didn't remember, but here's a after from above.

Looks nice. I like the flat boards much better than the tubes. You can get much better footing.

Marang, I have the same issue. Were they "bolt & play" or did you have to modify the mounts/boards/holes?

Also, any ideas on what models are interchangeable with our gen of F-150s ? IE If I was going to look for a set of these, which years/models would I look for ? Anything in the gen 12 series? Obviously, for my needs it would have to be a supercab, but other than that would any gen 12 running boards fit? Any other generations?

Thanks.
