52 FOMOCO glass etch logo

Hi ,Does anyone know if there is a "Glass etch kit" available with the proper "FOMOCO" logo for a 1952 F1 ? Thanks, John

I've never heard of a do-it-yourself kit to add the logo to your glass, but there are companies that will add concours correct etchings to auto glass. The down side is you have to buy the glass from them, and the work comes with a price. You've got to really want it. It's a lot more common to see these services used by the 100 point muscle car crowd. Check in Hemmings in the services offered section or in Mustang Monthly or similar type magazine.

There is a franchise business that specialises in etching glass wheels and metal over here in the uk somewhere. I'm pretty sure there must be one over there in the US that does similar stuff - they come to you and custom etch names/designs/emblems etc on site. Might be worth looking into.

It looks like there are a lot of DIY kits available (acid or sandblast). Just Google "auto glass etching ford logo". I'm not sure which style logo you want.
