92 F150 Nite build thread- Nite Rider

Ok so I bought this 92 F150 Nite about a year ago for $500. It only has 120K miles on it (more now) but it has some issues. I drove this truck until recently the way it was but now is time to start building since the trans went out.

Today I got a C6 and a computer to swap out the E4OD. I'm thinking of maybe a 5 spd in the future though. Also I will need exhaust, seats and to build an extended radius arm for my 6" lift and 37" tires on champion beadlocks.

Good luck with the build and keep up with the up dates. Just one question, why not do the 5spd swapp now? Tranny is bad and truck is down as it is. Unless this is your main transportation and you need it going asap....

Looks like you're off to a good start! Keep us updated on the progress. Usually its only recommended to go 35's due to the added stress on everything, but the 37's will fit with a 6" lift.

Yeah I had these on my 89 and it worked great, but that was also a long bed so who knows I may drop down to 35s we'll just see. Eventually this truck will see beefier axles as well.

Here is a NITE thread I started a while back. Please post some pics. Its always nice to hear from a NITE owner. I wish I had a 5spd.

So yesterday I decided to remove the old tranny cooler as it wasn't hooked up so I am ***-u-ming that it doesn't work. I saved the one from my other truck and that will go in with the tranny.
