Sorry, I was busy watching the jiggly, um, top.

Yes, that's what lockpick does.

Lockpick allows you video and navigation functions while the truck is moving as well as the ability to use the rearview camera on command.

Install is about 30 minutes. Remove a few screws, pull the center dash cover, few more screws, remove the head unit, unplug a few plugs and plug the Lockpick inline then reinstall everything. Difficulty level of 3 in my opinion and I will go that high only because the dash can be a PITA to get apart.

Actually the toughest part of the install for me was stuffing all the extra wires, plugs and the device itself in behind the head unit. There isn't much room in there for anything extra.

Matt, where did you get instructions for removing the dash? My luck without instructions I would be replacing broken dash panels.

Exactly. Seems like every time I play with dash/door panels I don't understand where clips/screws are and break something trying to force it --or-- it does not go back together the way it should. I know it's my lack of capability but would really like to install one.

what about the 2012 model? I will have to email them...........

I didn't have 50not miles on my truck when I was pulling the dash apart to put the unit in my 2012. I called the company to verify that the unit listed for the 11 is compatible with the 12 model year

Here's one on an F150. It's unlike me to not have done this yet, but for some reason I hate working inside the dash. I was also waiting for Lockpick to come up with a trailer cam feature and it looks like they're not going to do it. I've kind of had my radar up for anything that will give me the features of a Lockpick and trailer camera monitoring within the integrated NAV screen.

Anyone seen anything like that yet?

Epic, after looking at the Lockpick web site, it appears they support two cameras. In the video demo, it shows one on the rear and one on the front bumpers. I'd think you could use a wireless cam in your trailer and just connect the output from the receiver to the 2nd camera input provided through the lockpick.

I'm considering doing just that for my horse trailer. Now if my ordered truck would just get built!!!

So I just emailed them asking what model I need for 2012 f350 with nav. They asked the following..................

"First we need to figure out what radio you have in your vehicle. Do you have the Sync radio with the internal hard-drive or "Jukebox" mode? or does the vehicle have the newer Ford MyTouch radio?"

Not sure how I should reply? I don't get the truck until early January.
