buying a 2001 broken down duramax

yeah its broken down, go figure, but i plan on fixing it since the guy who owns it isnt machanically inclined so it should be interesting. buying it for 5800 then plan on resaling it to buy a good ford needs a common rail high pressure fuel pump

TRAITOR!!!

Just Kidding man (but not really). Good luck with the repair, but don't expect the Duramax crowd to be as helpful or as great to talk to as the crowd here at FTE.

That sounds like a great deal if you can get it going without too much expense.

I don't know why you guys are so hard on the Chevy trucks. Haven't you seen those commercials? 98% of all Chevy trucks sold are still on the road today.

I believe the other 2% actually made it home.

Now that's funny stuff right there, I don't care who you are. That actually made me laugh out loud!

I daily drive a GMC truck. It's not really that big of a deal. I don't have a great deal of brand loyalty, though.
