Well my truck is finally running good but she is having trouble getting out of her own way. What are some ways to get some searious power gains out of this engine without breaking the bank?

 

You need to be more specific about what problems you're having. Have you pulled any codes?

Based on what you have said, I would start by checking out the cat/cats. Could have a clogged one, which will definitely hinder performance.

 

are you running bigger then stock tires? unless you re-gear,the 5.0 will not like those.
