I need switches! lots and los of switches!

Where do you all get your switches from?
I have a bad heater position control switch (vacuum operation)
I need a new windshield wiper switch (wont park)
Washer pump motor.
Fan switch is starting to get rough
I might as well replace my fuel tank selector switch also.

I know some of them are available through local parts stores (usually after the third or fourth try they get me the right one) but some of them are not. Rock auto doesnt show me the heater control switch. Any leads would be helpful thanks.

I have no idea what a "heater position control switch" is, is this part of the HVAC controls in the dash? Sounds like you have AC as those are the only systems with vacuum-operated HVAC controls but please verify.
Pictures are marvelous....

Are you sure you need a wiper switch and not the motor? I had your problem once on my DD and it was the motor.
Look at this thread for diagnostic info from the EVTM:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...g-82-f100.html

To look up a replacement part, I need to know if you have Interval Wipers or not.

EOAZ-17664-A PUMP (WINDSHIELD OR REAR WASHER) Fits myriad Ford vehicles
MSRP $70.88 partsguyed.com (our sponsor) price $42.53 (purchase from the web site)

Heater fan switch (in dash) is dependent on AC or not, please confirm which configuration you have.

Fuel tank selector:
D5TZ-9A050-A SWITCH ASSY. (FUEL TANK SELECTOR) Fits 1980/86 F100/350 w/single fuel system; Marked D5TB 9A050-AA - 5 terminals - mounted in heater control head
MSRP $31.51 partsguyed.com price: $20.80

If you don't find what you are looking for via the info Chris gives you, send me a PM as I think I have the right HVAC control panel that would include the fan switch, the tank switch, and the vacuum selector. And, I might have the pump.

Might even have the wiper switch, but I agree w/Chris that not stopping in Park may not be the switch. If I remember correctly the switch tells the wiper motor to run and it will run until it gets back to Park even if the switch is turned off. And, if the Park mechanism/switch is bad it'll never stop.

I *believe* it's a black/some-sort-of-green-tracer wire that supplies power to the motor even though the dash switch has been shut off, this allows the motor to park as Gary explained.

I still don't know what a heater position control switch is.

Thanks, the function control switch is what I need for my heater.
I just need to know where a person can purchase the switches, not diagnostics.
Thanks

Nobody?
Turn signal switch is going too. I can get some of them through the parts house, but im sure a new Heater function switch is either obsolete or non existent.

See my post #3. Need to know if you have A/C and, if so, is it factory or dealer-installed.

In any event, the vacuum connection is completely different on that one than the first one, as is at least one of the electrical connectors if I remember correctly. (I could go look as I have those in my shop, but I'm pretty sure.)

But, note my reference to "factory A/C" as the dealer-installed A/C used different controls, and the non-A/C units were also different. So, the OP needs to determine what he has.

CORRECTING MISTAKE!

Guys - It has been pointed out to me, kindly I might add, that I was a bit hasty on my reply. The first one in Lavatan's post was not used in our trucks. In fact, it was used in a medium or heavy-duty trucks. So, it is very doubtful it'll work in ours as there are obvious differences that I overlooked.

Sorry!

sorry, I saw that, I am looking for new. The yard is only 2 miles away and have plenty down there for the picking. If you have new switches or know where I can buy new that would be great. It is Factory AC for the record.

Sorry!
The first one looks similar from the front but the Vacuum ports may be different. I took it apart last summer to see if it in fact was my issue and run my function tests. I cant remember what it looks like back there now but do know the lines look like they would be route differently on the one on the Ebay link. Mine has one rubber block for all of the hoses. I really only need the Vacuum block itself to fix my issue, and replace the electric switches with new ones for various reasons.
