Thanks to yall i am doing the repair this weekend. Yes x mas weekend lol that is ok i aint got nothing to do anyways. have a marry christmas to all. thank you so much for the help. Oh i found the ford dealer here is selling the hose for 40 so i guess i will go with that
ok so i removed that cover next to the egr hose.... now what?? i do not want to be prying on **** and break it. Do i have to remove the deal the hose is connected to?? then pull the hose off? pleas help lol i feel stupid
I don't know about yours. But the blue one on my 05 requires you to turn the hose to the metal part has a flat spot on it to the mark then pull to the front and then to the rear to release it.
ok so i got the hose to slip back but the housing will not budge what are the best tools for this?? <a href="http://s30.photobucket.com/albums/c346/Kronicsmoke/?action=view&current=CIMG0084.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c346/Kronicsmoke/CIMG0084.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
this is where i could get the best leverage, lol i know im cheating
it looks like this when off, it has a gasket on the cover so don't loose it
when reinstalling it placefitting back on to the oil cooler place the cover on , make sure the gasket is on it, and then torque them down to 89lb-in or 10nm
