I would like to take a moment to share this news with the Chapter if you have not already become aware.

Earlier today an officer was shot and killed on the campus of Virginia Tech. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family, the students, faculty, and all others affiliated with the University.

Thoughts and prayers to those involved. My question: What the hell is wrong with people that do these things.

 

Not sure Pat. They had a hearing today that was to discuss the happenings and response time from the 2007 shooting (the large multi victim instance), and this followed shortly thereafter.

 

Pretty ironic that this happened today.

Two dead is two too many. Thoughts and prayers are out for the families and friends. John, please be careful out there.

 

Good thoughts for the officer on the journey he has undertaken...good thoughts also for those loved ones left behind.

It's my understanding that the second victim was likely the shooter.

Ah geez, my condolence to all his family, and friends.

 

Many have made the unltimite sacrifice in order to protect others, whether they be military, or policemen, firemen, and anyone else that puts there life on the line. My most deepest sympathy and condolences, go out to the families and friends of the officer who was shot and killed. May he rest in peace.
