Police Expedition addition to the garage

In addition to the Navigator, I'm looking to get an expedition soon, probably an 08 limited black. I'm thinking of getting this as my current car is not very serious when it comes to responding to calls. As fire police a blue light permit is issued, which allows me to outfit my Personal vehicle with blue strobes and red and blue in the back and sides. My current infiniti "confuses" people as seeing a sports car with blue lights only leads to questions as opposed to simply moving aside. I have photoshopped what I would like to have the interior look like, I would be installing a good deal of lights; front inner lightbar, 4 grille lights, fog strobes, 2 strobe on a push bar, 1 module inside each wheel well, 2 on each side of the rear side windows and a traffic advisor in the rear windshield. While many resort to removing the console and installing a police console I will searching to maintain the upscale interior, if there are those out there with lights I would love to see how it looks like. Let me know what you guys think about the rendering!

you chose wisely sir and wont be disappointed!

I just got a new lightbar thats hella bright, and red/blue flashers for the fog lights.

I have my command box mounted in a similar place, let me know if you want a pic. It fits right in that little change box thingy perfectly w/the mount. I also have the radio mounted to the side of the center console and laptop on the pass side.

Your trucks look great! If you find the time a pic would be fantastic! I'm also thinking of putting a cradle to charge my flashlight on the right side of the console, this way its always ready to go

Here are a few pictures I snapped w/my cell when I got home at 8p.
I have my radio mounted on the left side of the console. I have my siren faceplate mounted w/their bracketry in the little change holder thingy and next to it I have my mic for my digital ally camera. Obviously I have the mics for everything mounted up on either side of my A/C controls. You can kinda see my laptop mount in the side of the picture (laptop is swung to other side of vehicle) but it doesn't interfere w/the siren box controls at all.

This is the siren box I have. Only the faceplate mounts up on the console (or where ever you want to mount it) the actual box where all the wires for the power, emergency lights, and siren you can mount anywhere in the vehicle (we mounted mine under the rear-pass seat). The only wire that runs from the wiring box to the faceplate is about the size of a phone cord....its a really cool setup and much easier to use/put together than the older style of siren boxes.

This is the flashlight that we use. I have no complaints. I like the fact that you can use either the LEDs (like when I forget to charge it and the battery is low) or the main light.
Its also bright as heck.

Wow thats perfect, I really like that set up, specially because you still maintain all the stock features and space! I think I may actually end up buying the same controller as it seems like a good one. Thank you again for the pics!

That, or just making something similar myself with the switched. I really dont need a siren, just a bull horn so i may be able to save some cash that way

There is an SSV version available, but unlike the Tahoe ppv it doesn't come with upgraded suspention or ecu tuning. For example a normal tahoe tops out at 120 while the ppv tops out at 140. In the ssv included is vinyl carpets/floors, we have this in our f550 and their a sinch to clean. Other thing include higher amperage on the alternator and things like that. I plan on getting a limited expy and upgrading the suspention and ecu tune to achieve what I'm looking for

I wish we had been able to find SSVs but we searched and searched and could not locate an SSV w/4x4 (which is a must have item out here).

I'm currently in a lease, but if this summer I am still torn between a couple choices, an Expedition Limited, Tahoe and within the tahoe I dont know which one either a PPV or an LT, or even a yukon. So I'm dead set on getting a truck, but i really dont know which one exactly. The Tahoe PPV which i'm leaning towards because of the upgraded suspension, alternator, its already pre-wired for lights and overall mean look.

the PPV tahoes are pretty slick rigs...you cannot go wrong with whatever you choose
