Perhaps a cooling fan on the transmission cooler? My ares van would push trans temps very high before I installed one.

The cooler is rated for a 28,000 pound vehicle. But, if it doesn't keep up, I'll be putting a fan on it. But I think it will be ok, it kept the trans cool on my old wheeler I parted out, n that was severely abused.

Did you leave the engine driven fan on?

Yes I did. I just added the electrics to help when the A/C is on, and when I'm pulling.

You'll be fine then, I went full electric with internal controls to enable fording 28 inches of water.

New grill. Expanded powder coated aluminum.

Fuel filter, and regulator setup.

Not my favorite mounting position. But not many choices on a van.

I used a return style regulator I had laying around (after the elcheapo jap crap one I got off fleabay was a bust n didn't work) Hooked the "return" port to the fuel inlet, and the guage n carb to the "inlet" and "carb" ports.

It works flawlessly that way.

Parts alone hard to say. Axles $1200, gears, $250, tires, $ 800. Than rest of the parts I had or took off something else.

Man I wish I could do stuff like this! So since I cannot, I just have to rely on my bartering skills and trade for "store bought" 4x4 vans.
