why???
does anyone know why this generations is the same price or cheaper then OBS f150s? at least by me(northern NJ). i can get a 98 in better shape then a 95 for the same price, about 2500. ive had both, and their both about equal. i beat the ever living **** out of my 97 and it was still a good truck.

Pickups that are over 16 years old are usually flirting w/the 200,000 mile mark. They've long left the late model market & entered the 2nd tier of financing, if not in cash market. Many are sold as is, for utilitarian purposes, at low prices. Next stop, getting parted out.
How it runs & how it looks can trump model year. Many are familiar w/old FORD motors/systems & perceive FORD's modular motors overly complicated & more expensive to repair.
Of course good examples of "OBS f150s" are getting relatively harder to find, while loads of early NBS f150s are 4 sale.
